these mics are wired wrong, at the base of the mic. I bought 2. they sounded terrible. but I was able to re-wire and solder the red wire to pin2, ground to pin 3. then it sounded great.

Fast delivery! Parcel with minor damage, weak poucher, no transformator inside (fake steel balast instead of). So everything I expect. Sound on miles different from original SM57. BUT, at price 12 bucks for punk’s or similar lowcost events good enough 😉

Hillard O'Hara

This is a decent mic, not as solid as the original, but unique enough to be considered usable. They should market is as something else and make this the selling pitch rather than copy another mic and risk ridicule. The capsule cap doesn’t spin like the original style, so that bugs me, and I can’t tell (don’t see) a transformer inside. So the difference is there also.
