Advice I received in the field of arts
I didn’t know much about music at the time. In 2011, I met a teacher of Circassian origin named Ibrahim Nasser. I bought an organ from him. I was amazed by his mastery of Caucasian and Russian playing. My meeting with him did not last more than half an hour, yet he gave me important advice:
The advice was:
- Do not imitate others; we are musical miracles.
- Create from what you have, and others will feel your presence later.
Personally, I think :
- Everyone wants to influence others, whether through the arts or through other human creations. What matters is the desire to make an impact — and that is their right.
- The musical arts operate on two principles: the first is the raw material or reference, and the second is application and continuous accumulation.
- An artistic identity often reveals itself in childhood, with its traits becoming clearer over time. Yet anyone can develop it later in life through dedication and hard work.
- I wish success to everyone I have loved and who has loved me in this vast artistic field. Perhaps one day, I will meet you.
